YEW TREE CANINE SOCIETY Yew Tree Canine Society - Fun Dog Shows  Yew Tree holds 2 Fun Dog Shows twice a year both regulaty held at our permanent venue, The Griffin’s Head Public House in Papplewick. We have successfully held all our shows there for the last 3 years raising about £2500 for charities, human or canine related. Ourselves and our members make the decision at the beginning of the year as to whom the charity will be with our first being in April with a human charity. Later in the year, for our second show in September/August time, we will chose a canine related one. Yew Tree prides itself in holding some very good and very busy dog shows with some fantastic entries and support over the years. We have about 35 classes at each show including 14 classes for pedigrees from all groups including import, all the others are fun classes, now including fancy dress and tricks classes. As always special rosettes supplied by Showstoppers, certificates, prizes, trophies and shields to be won with lots of prizes on our tombola and raffle. Sponsership for our shows is always difficult to find, we spend the very beginning of the year sending out letters but the replies are very poor. We would like to sincerely thank COBBYDOG animal feeds for their continued support and sponsership of all our shows to date.
