Central Nottinghamshire Venue   The Newstead Centre Tilford Road Newstead Village Nottinghamshire NG15 0BS Yew Tree have been training dogs in the local areas of Bilborough, Hucknall, Kirkby and now Newstead Village since starting the Society in 2007. The Newstead Centre is our new venue, as of 2018 when we lost the use of our venue at Aspley. Our central Nottinghamshire venue is The Newstead Centre in Newstead Village down by the railway crossing. Training is every Thursday from 7pm till 9pm. Ringcraft training with Puppy/Adult socialising.for everyone, Adult and Junior Handlers, most welcome. A lovely bright large room with plenty of space for a big training ring and smaller training runner for our table dogs. Refreshments are available. On every 4th week in the month, we hold a great Match Night for members new and old with lovely rosettes and certificates to be won. Match Night starts at 7.00pm with open training till 8pm. We then start our classes with Junior Handling,Senior Handling,  Special Novice, K9 Companion Class, Brace, then our main pedigree classes - Puppy Walk, Puppy, Special Yearling, Adult, Veteran and then al pedigreel class winners to compete for Best In Match and RBIM Best Puppy Walk and Best Puppy, Best Veteran and Best in Match from each month will then compete in January of the following year at our Top Dog, Supreme Puppy and Best Golden Oldie Competition held at our Aspley venue.
